Experience
Matthew started his career in manufacturing, holding positions in Design, Quality Control, and Production Planning before finding his way to the Accounting department, where he discovered his real groove. After switching his major to Accounting and obtaining his CPA license, he returned to manufacturing for a successful plant controller stint, but eventually returned to public accounting. Whether implementing and maintaining accounting systems, analyzing direct costs, overhead, profitability, or tax compliance, Matthew uses the principles he learned on the plant floor to help his clients.
Education
Matthew graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and holds Professional Certifications of CPA and CPIM.
Interests
Matthew is actively involved in several professional and community organizations, including the AICPA and MICPA. He also supports local business growth through membership in the Grosse Pointe Chamber of Commerce, Eastside Community Chamber of Commerce, and Corktown Business Association.
