Experience
Lisa joined the firm in September 2021. She has been working in tax accounting since 1999. She has extensive experience in the preparation and review of Individual, Personal Property Tax Returns, preparation of w-2 and 1099s, and tax planning.
Education
Lisa is working on an Associate’s Degree in Accounting after previously double majoring in Philosophy and Psychology.
Professional Certification
She attends annual tax seminars and takes many Continuing Education courses. Lisa is also working to become an Enrolled Agent with the Internal Revenue Service
Interests
Lisa is a 5th-degree Master Black Belt in Tang Soo Do under the American Kwan Tang Soo Do Federation. She also studies the arts of Muay Thai, Krav Maga, Brazilian JiuJitsu, and Pankration. She competed with Team USA for the World Games in Pankration where she was awarded the Bronze Medal in her weight class division. She competed as a Mixed Martial Arts fighter for many years. In Lisa’s spare time she enjoys playing travel hockey with the MSWHL, painting, photography, horseback riding, reading, and playing guitar and drums.
More About Lisa Dzik
Lisa credits her mother as her main motivator. She has been her champion her whole life and continues to always motivate her to be the best version of herself. When she’s not traveling to Albania for the world games, she is imaging herself visiting her bucket list destination, Turtle Island, Fiji. Lastly, she’s not only a CPA Nerd but Lisa also considers herself super-nerd because of her love for Magic the Gathering, Dungeon and Dragons, and comic cons.
